| Description:
The new HOGGANITC - Instrumented Therapy Cord is the latest in HOGGAN's innovative line of objective measurement solutions for musculo-skeletal evaluation and therapy progress documentation. The ITC is designed to provide improved therapy/rehabilitation management and safety in resistance cord exercise.
THE ITC offers a variable threshold setting for "dialing in" the maximum desired resistance for therapy effectiveness, or for setting a target resistance in strength training. The ITC provides instant audible feedback when the threshold has been achieved, as well as tracking peak force, and repetitions. The ITC is based on the same highly-reliable force measurement technology as the microFET2 MMT, and ergoFET handheld push/pull force gauge, and works with virtually any elastomeric resistance band system. Features:
- Measures peak force and repetitions for any exercise
- Wireless (RF) transmitter in the load cell sends data to large, easy to read display
- Adjustable threshold setting allowes therapist or trainer to set the target force to be achieved
- Audible signal (beep) indicates when target force has been reached
- Instant feedback and repetition tracking increases exercise consistency
- Ideal for rehabilitation, where patient has been instructed to exercise at a specific low resistance level to avoid re-injury or pain
- Flexible threshold also allows therapist or trainer to set small resistance increases over time, instead of relying on large increases required by stronger reistance bands
- Completely portable, for use with any standard resistance cord
