Now MDR can be fully integrated with most high line rate imaging platforms as a high performance video to DVD/CD-R solution. MDR is the first and only medical DVD recorder to provide high resolution video recording of dynamic and static video images in a DICOM format. With its patented video recording process and DICOM recording format, MDR provides digital image records of unparalleled quality. MDR is capable of recording the native 1K x 1K resolution video output in real time capturing significantly more clinical data than other recording solutions and image quality is far superior to S-VHS, S-video and MPEG formats. The superior image quality is particularly beneficial for use in any imaging critical application including; cardiology, angio, vascular, surgery, speech pathology and orthopedic applications. Each DVD (or CD) is recorded in DICOM format which is PACS compatible and allows full review with measurements and annotations.
Using the integrated MDR simplifies the video recording process, and provides tools which no other system offers. Patient information can be associated with the images recorded by MDR by translating the patient information from the modality screen using a form of OCR or optional modiality worklist. A footswitch interface connection can be used for capturing high resolution single image snapshots off the screen, video loops and streaming cine. MDR is always ready to record images to its large internal hard disk and transfers images to DVD or CD-R media or, as an option, directly to the network. Images may be viewed from a PACS workstation or any Windows® PC using the DICOM viewer utility added to every disk. MDR provides a high performance alternative for PACS networks which automatically “degrade” XA image formats to 512 line rates. Simply record the full resolution images to media then import the studies from the MDR disks. MDR makes it easy to record only the clinically relevant data which maximizes your efficiency and productivity during the review process. |
