SolmeteX Replacement Filter Cartridge with Recycle Kit.

The Hg5 Filter Cartridge is designed to last a maximum of six months. Filter life is based upon the amount of sediment collected and the life of the KeyleX soluble mercury binding resin. Large practices will see sediment in the filter accumulate faster than a small practice. The filter cartridge is designed to allow you to observe the sediment level as it accumulates in the filter. The Hg5 Filter Cartridge must be changed once every 6 months or when the sediment level reaches the "full line", whichever occurs first.

Please refer to the Cartridge Replacement Procedure PDF and follow the diagrams. For recycling, package the depleted filter cartridge into the recycle box and call FedEx for package pick-up (in the United States only). FedEx will deliver the depleted cartridge directly to the recycler. (where available - if not available contact a licensed waste hauler for pickup and proper disposal). Please note that all Hg5 Filter Cartridges ship with a detailed replacement procedure.
