Due to changing federal and state AED laws and regulations and concerns about liability issues it has never been more important to maintain your AED and keep up-to-date on your CPR/AED training. DefibtechMD's WebTracker online software provides customers with a quick and easy way to maintain their Defibtech AED. Through their customized webpage, a DefibtechMD customer performs monthly AED maintenance records, views battery and pad expiration dates on every AED within a company, each employees CPR/AED training status, and reports any use of the AED.
AED maintenance is required by federal and state laws and by Defibtech's indemnification policy. A consistent maintenance record is created within WebTracker by answering simple Yes/No questions concerning your Defibtech AED and your site. WebTracker will send emails reminding the AED manager that their AED maintenance records need to done monthly and auto email them and corporate human resource or risk management personnel charged with managing large AED programs.
WebTracker tracks the accessories to the AED including the batteries and electrode pads. An email is sent out to the AED manager 60 & 30 days prior to the expiration date with distributor contact information so the battery and/or pad can be reordered.
Records are kept on the webpage of all the employees CPR/AED trained at a specific site. WebTracker will then email the individual to remind them that their training has almost expired. This is to ensure that there is always someone that is trained to respond correctly in case of a medical emergency.
In case of a medical emergency and the AED has been used the event needs to be reported. WebTracker helps record all the information necessary for a physician to do a through medical review.
In addition to WebTracker helping companies know the status of their AED it also allows Defibtech distributors to remain in constant contact with their AED customers. |
