| The Ultraviolet Sterilizer/Disinfector is a simple and reliable way to kill bacteria on instruments and implements. Ultraviolet sterilization has very strong penetrability which can change the protein and nucleic acid structures of bacteria. (This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA)
Operation: (1) Place the items to be sterilized on the support plate and close the lid. (2) Turn on the power switch. A purplse light should come on in the observation window. (3) The light will go out when the unit has completed the sterilization procedure. Caution:
While the sterilizer is in the operating mode, keep the lid closed and do not look directly into the ultraviolet light. The ultra violet is harmful to the eyes.
Don't place corrosive materials in the sterilizer.
Don't touch the ultraviolet bulb.
Clean the unit with a soft cloth between uses.
