Geiger TCU 150A Cautery Unit includes provides all the cautery power necessary for treating the numerous minor surgical conditions seen by physicians in everyday practice. The cautery unit is ideal for applications such as dermatological, ophthalmologic, occupational health, ENT, plastic surgery cases, urology, podiatry, or any procedure that requires accurate hemostasis. The autoclavable handpiece with six-foot cord accepts an assortment of thermal cautery electrodes, allowing the physician to have the flexibility to perform a wide variety of procedures. The TCU 150 utilizes an electrically heated tip to coagulate tissue and to control bleeding.
Other benefits include no aberrant radio frequency currents to cause unintended tissue damage, shocking, or interference with implantable pacemakers/defibrillators. Unlike disposable battery powered cauteries, the TCU maintains the desired temperature during tissue contact and does not rapidly diminish. |
