The Palomar MediLux System uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat acne, pigmented and vascular lesions and unwanted hair. The MediLux’s high energy output, largest available spot size and wide spectrum of wavelengths allows it to deliver superior power and fluence for rapid treatment. The snap on connector makes it easy to switch handpieces.
The Palomar Lux handpieces are designed to filter light in the optimal bands of the spectrum for specific treatments. Each of the four EsteLux handpieces specializes in different treatments. This allows you to choose the best handpiece for the treatments you seek to deliver. Select 1 of the following handpieces with your system.
- LuxRs™ (650-1200nm) filters light to provide the ideal spectrum for permanent hair reduction on all skin types.
- LuxR™ (650-1200nm) offers the fastest available hair removal for all skin types form the fairest to the darkest, including deep tans.
- LuxG™ (500-670 & 870-1400nm) filters light to provide the ideal spectrum for vascular lesions and epidermal pigment.
- Lux™ Y (525-1200nm) effectively removes hair for large body areas, plus super-effective pigment lesion treatments.
- Lux™ B (470-1400nm) is effective treatment of lighter pigmented lesions on fair skin as well as leg and spider veins.
- Lux™ V (400-700 & 870-1200nm) offers fast and effective treatment of mild to moderate acne and pigmented lesions.
