We currently have openings for the following positions:

Business Unit Leader

Med1Online, LLC is seeking high caliber, experienced CME sales people to manage all aspects of a CME "vertical". It is intended that these individuals will build their product vertical of both new and used capital medical equipment sales and eventually hire and manage a staff to support the sales function. We have an immediate opening in the general medical vertical and are expanding in other specialty areas.

These positions require a complex mix of knowledge, experience, abilities and skills. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and commercially aware sales professional with perseverance and drive. Minimal travel is required as Med1Online has developed the tools and novel business strategies and partnerships that have made them leaders within the rapidly developing web-based sales platforms.

Key responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage all aspects of the sales and inventory cycle to assure all equipment is correctly listed on various web portals (Med1Online, Med1Online Outlet, eBay, DotMed, etc.,) in a timely manner.
  • Develop value added sales opportunities through building relationships with customers, thereby guaranteeing that Med1Online is always positioned at the forefront of the marketplace.
  • Develop distribution relationships with medical equipment manufacturers in order to further develop portfolios of new equipment available within the product vertical.
  • Be accountable for defining and tracking performance metrics.
  • Keep fully up to date with the specifics of equipment functions, features and availability.
  • Ensure rapid turnover of stock inventory through special promotions, pricing, programs, incentives, etc.
  • Devise, manage and coordinate appropriate project activities within partner and customer organizations and Med1Online in order to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and the maximization of new business opportunities.
  • Implement and manage processes to maximize margins for featured products (new and used) and trade-ins.
  • Ensure Cost of Goods Sold is assigned appropriately. Monitor margins, Cost of Goods Sold, etc., on all "mixed" sales involving a combination of new and used items.
  • Manage featured product inventory levels, used equipment (either actual or virtual), demonstration equipment program and inventory to ensure maximum return.
  • Devise promotional strategy and develop promotional materials within the limits of the advertising and promotional budget provided; manage expenditures in line with the marketing budget.
  • Monitor competitor activity and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Maintain and develop personal portfolio of contacts through attendance at trade shows and scientific meetings, seminars and by making client presentations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction with sales and marketing strategies of Med1Online by communication of client preferences and feedback.
